Sync problems with Windows NT

sony help has indicated that the clie isn't compatable with NT and a USB connection. I used the serial connection for several months, my disk crashed (unrelated to clie) and now I can't install the palm desktop or hotsync. Has anyone found a way to use NT that works? My wife uses a Visor which is working great. We'd like to sync our calanders, but I'm stuck and unable to sync at all.

I run NT at work but I could not get the version of Palm Desktop 4.1 that came on the installation CD to work. I downloaded the free Palm Desktop 4.1 version from www.downloads.com and it along with Intellisync Lite works with NT and my Outlook 2000. I hope this helps
