Anybody successful getting Kinoma to play large (~475meg) files? Seems to work fine on smaller sized files (<100meg) but the video stalls while playing larger files on the iQue from an SD card.

Don't know why, but for some reason the thread topic didn't take. Won't let me edit and add it or delete the post. Apologies.

I thought the largest possbile formated size for a 512mb card was 461mb space? Sure you fitted a 475mb file?

Instead of Kinoma, which is obviously using a rather old compression method, I am experiencing with mmplayer.

The IQue seems to be a little underpowered for mpeg4, but with some limitations in frame size, bit rate, etc it is capable of playing PC video files with relatively good results.

After re-encoding a two hour movie with DivX to a smaller size I was able to fit it to 300 mb.

I'm getting 486mb available on my 512mb card.

Here's two links to previous threads about SD storage space.

Thanks. I'll give mmplayer a test run.
