I just got my palm off ebay about a week ago and I love it. The only trouble I am having is that about 9 times out of 10 when I turn it on the screen will not respond to the stylus. It will only respond in the upper right hand corner. Then if you wait about 5 mins. it is fine. Whats up with that? Any suggestions???

thanks!

If you have recently HotSynced and backup all your data I would suggest a Hard Reset to rule out a software problem. The Hard reset is accomplished by using the reset pin in the end of your stylus or a straightened paper clip. While you hold the Power/On button down push the pin into the reset hole on the back of your Palm. Release the pin but hold the Power button until the Palm Logo appears on the screen. Now let the power button g and read the screen. Pushing the Scroll UP button will Delete All.
Once you have completed this and have tapped through the Welcome app try using the Palm without any applications on it. If it works well for a day then go into your backup folder and copy into anther folder anything that is not your basic Palm application. You can add them one at a time by double clicking on them and letting them load during the next HotSync.
Remember if you do a Hard Reset and use the Palm you will need to do another Hard Reset when you are ready to do your first HotSync so that the Conduit Manager will reload the Palm from the Backup folder.
Let me know what happens. If this fails you have a hardware issue.

if that doesn't work, you may need a new digitizer. you can get one from ********hightech.com.

That sounds like the right decision to me.
