I was on my way back from a trip to Chicago and was in the line at the sercurity point in the airport. I had placed all my items in the little trays and was reaching for my T-Mobile PDA which was on my belt loop and it fell to teh floor. I have the protective case covering the unit and it looke undamaged so I was not too worried. I proceeded through the checkpoint and went up to the Admiral's Club where I discovered my PDA would not come on. I tried a soft boot and nothing, so I thought maybe if I plug the power cable back in it would work and low and behold it started coming on but with a hard reset. I ahd lost all my information and had no way of reinstalling it until I got home. I do not know why it did a hard boot as a result of the fall.
Anyone have a reason? There was no other damage other than that and I have finally goten all the programs reloaded and the back-up reinstalled.
