I've done some lurking through the posts and cannot find exactly what I need. Help help.

I backed up using the PPC backup utility and then installed EUU4 on my Maestro on the 11th. I had trouble freeing enough memory to install EUU4 so I removed some programs and ended up installing from CF. When all was done I restored from the backup I did prior to the upgrade.

This is when things went wierd. I now have mail syncing to my Activesync folder even when I am at home and using the PPC stand-alone with a wifi card. My old service stopped updating as of when I did the upgrade and the restore.

I've seen reference to this as a known bug with the backup utility and POP/IMAP mailboxes... and that there is no fix. How can I restore normal function? Do I have to do a hard reset and reinstall my 3rd party programs?

Some misc info: I do not use Outlook on the PC. I previously had EUU1 installed (had never had a problem requiring patching above that). All seemed well. I have Activesync installed on my work PC to install files to the Maestro and Activesync was set to only sync files. I've deleted the partnership and have deleted and recreated the service.

Fixed. Turns out that it is key to the process to not only delete and recreate the service but also to use the clear all command. I now have my email working once again in the service's inbox.
