I have a Palm Vx and a Minstrel V modem, which supports CDPD transmission protocol. I gather that CDPD is being phased out. Does anyone know if there remain any options for using this modem? Alternatively, what options remain for wireless internet/email connection with a Vx? Thanks for any info on this.

Hello All,
I just got a Tungsten E and I can't get anything to work with it.
Dose anyone know of a wireless card or modem that will work with it so I can connect to the internet?
Thanks

All the reviews of the T-E were quick to point out that it did not have the Universal Connector and as a result of that the E would not be able to use any of the Modems that are in use by the 500 series and other T series Palms.
There are Cell phones with GSM modem capability and if you can find one with IR connectivity you may have success. You may also want to watch for someone that decides they can market a connector to go from the E's connector to a female Universal Connector. Midwest Mirco I believe made the "Bridge" for the early Palms with Serial connectors to go to UC.
