I sync my Sony Clie NR70V ( with my desktop (Windows XP) and my laptop (Windows ME).
My last hotsync was with my desktop. For other reasons, it then crashed and I now have to reformat the whole hard disk. I have not done any hotsync with the desktop since the crash.
I tried to hotsync the NR70V with the laptop. It all worked perfectly before but now I get the message:
"HotSync operation was terminated. Some of your data wa not backed up. An application on the PC failed to respond to a confirmation query. This application may need to be restarted."
Restarting Hotsync did not fix the problem. I did reboots on the laptop and soft reboot on the NR70V, also without success.
It seems that something in my desktop might have corrupted the hotsync settings on my NR70V but I don't know how to check this. Also, I discovered that after my last hotsync with the desktop, that the data I had in my NR70V's Datebook 3 application had mysteriously moved to the Datebook application in the same handheld!
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks.
