I recently bought a CD of CE utilities. Mixed in with the expected EXE files are some zipped files that contain VB, VBW, and PVB files.
How do I install these files? There are not instructions. My computer does not recognize any of these file types. When I try to extract these files to the synchronized folder, it almost locks up my computer...like they are not supposed to be extracted.
Please help!

The VB extention files are programs which can be run directly on your PDA if you have the visual basic run time files on the PDA. They won't run on a PC
The VBW extention files are for use in Visual Basic (version 6, I'm not sure about 5) which is used for creating programs within the Windows environment on a PC.
The PVB I'm not sure of, but are probably for use in the Visual Basic programming environment on a PC, like eMbedded Visual Tools 3.0 or something similar, which is used for creating your own programs for the Pocket PC or they could belong to an earlier or another VB programming program.
So the only ones that are immediately of use to you on your PDA are the ones with the VB extentions.
I stand to be corrected on any of the above!!

I realize this may be a little silly...
But how do I know if I have the run time files on my PDA.
I have a Mobil Pro 770 and a Casseopia A22T, both with the original set up on it.

If the programs with the extention .vb run on your device, then you have them!
If not, you could go to http://www.cebeans.com where you can download the run time files and also programs created by the author of that site.
Look carefully for the correct download for your device. I'm not familiar with the devices you mention, but you do need WindowsCE.
