WM 2003 Upgrade Help

Hi,

I have just upgraded my 3970 to WM2003, and have the following issues and didn't know whether it was normal.

1. If I do a soft reset, if the volume was off it changes to max volume. [I dont hear the old ding ding when its powering back on either]

2. I use a CF expansion pack and on a soft reset the machine will not come back on unless I take out the CF card and then put it back in. I have another CF card and the same happens with that.

Everything else is working fine. Any ideas?

I've noticed the volume-thing -- there's no telling at what level, if any, it will be set to after a soft reset.

I'm using a CF wireless adapter thanks to the upgrade (my PC LAN cards have no drivers for WM2003). I've not had any problems using the PC card expansion plus sleeve.

I have since found out that it is a program I have subsequently installed dont know which one.

It works fine straight after a hard reset, then when I have installed programs the problem occurs.

SInce installing WM2003 I have never had to soft reset my Ipaq so much!!!

Still Outlook,PIE and Media Player make up for it - along with performance improvements.

Used to use XCPUScalar - havent bothered installing it yet cos the 3970 seems much better now than on PPC2002.
