Copying E-mails from Outlook to MC218

I'm a new user of an MC218 (that is a great machine) and have managed to gain connection to Desktop PC.

I would like to ask for assistance as to how to copy selected E-mails from Outlook to the MC218 (I've checked out the Manual and Windows Explorer first).

I have been successful in copying and converting word files either way, but can't work out what to do with E-mails.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You need to install Email Synchronization which should be on the software CD. This will let you 'sync' the messages in your Inbox with Outlook's Inbox and also prepare 'PC emails' on the MC218 which are then transferred to Outlook for sending when you 'sync'.

The E-mail Sync. on the software CD links to the Sony Ericsson website for download. That download link did not work for me (and, at the time, did not work for Sony Ericsson Australian support).

Consequently, Support is posting me a CD of the E-mail Sync. software to try. Thank you again.

I think if you install psiwin 2.33 with your ericsson plugged in, it will detect and install email synch. You can download psiwin from this site (http://www.psionplace.com/software/series5/PsiWin-1999-04-28-psion-series5.html) - its a 25Mb download tho :(

beffore you install it, you'll need to uninstall epoc connect and clean the registry - there's a guide in my FAQ, at the URL below..
