no sync,bought serial cable

Thank u all 4 the answers,unfortunately my docking station didn't work, i bought a serial cable and now I CAN SYNC!! this is strang becuz now I charge my palm using the cradle and sync using serial cable!!!!!!! I am not satisfied with the hardware of 505 and thinking of changing to Clie any suggestions?
