you can't just download it. you have to purchase it through
palm for i believe 29.95

If You are lucky enough to have a Palm with the original US-english, (and You have a M5XX), You can download the upgrade from Palm.com; but if You are one of the unlucky ones, who own an international version, just forget it, as Palm seems to want to forget about us!

say PDASROCK hope you were sinical above. you as well as any should know it can very well work.

anyway it is indeed not legaly possible to download OS4.1 (not making suggestions here, oh no absolutely not). It might btw have helped if you include the type of palm you own while posting the thread.

Yeah yeah, just trying to, well, dicourage illegal activity, naturally.
Of course it could work, although there would also be a chance that you would mess up you palm if you got a bad file, messing with home made roms isn't a bright idea. Well, unless you make em yourself...
