Hi. First post.

I just purchased a iiiC online. I also got a modem and a keyboard. The actual unit is great. Love it compared to my Visor Deluxe. However, it has an obvious problem. There are problems connecting the sync, modem and keyboard. I can perform a HotSync by "jiggling" the iiiC in the cradle but get no response when trying to use modem or keyboard. I can only therefore suspect the connectors on the actual unit have somekind of problem. More to the point it has to whichever ones turn the unit on when placed in cradle to perform a sync or are suppose to recognize the keyboard. I can perfom a HotSync via the unit's screen when it is in the cradle without any problems at all.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

hey,

the if you can hotsync from the screen but not from the cradle, then check this out.

when you press the button on the cradle, the button connects across two contacts in the palm's connector. i don't recall which two they are, but look to see that any contacts are not dirty or bent.

sorry i can't help more.

Hi, thanks for the reply but I think I've found the problem. There are NO SCREWS IN THE PALM'S BACK!!!!

I'll be getting four screws then :-)
