Just got my new iQue 3600 and so far it looks real good.
Haven't seen any of the bugs others have talked about.
But I have a few questions.
1. How can you make waypoints on the PC and the load them into the iQue. The only thing it leats me do is use the map loader, there is no optio to create wayoints.
Any advice would be greatly apreciated.

Garmin has released a plugin for the Palm Desktop that will load waypoints from a MapSource file onto the iQue.
Go to Garmin's iQue Software Updates Page (http://www.garmin.com/support/agree.jsp?product=010-00264-00) (click to agree). Scroll down the page a little. You're looking to Download Transfer Waypoints on the right side of the page.

PS. If you're a geocacher, you can use CacheMate (http://www.smittyware.com/palm/cachemate/) ($7 to register it) to get cache waypoints into the iQue.

Sorry for a stupid question.
I just installed that plug-in.
But how do you get the Mapsource map to open on the computer so you could plot the waypoints.

You must have the map handling program Mapsource installed, not just the Mapsource map product, known as City Select.
This is very confusing, I know.
Mapsource is the generic name for all mapping products from Garmin. It's also the name of the software used to handle these maps. Until now, since the iQue uses another program, known as the Mapinstall application within the Palm Desktop.
With Mapinstall, you can install maps. Period. But if you also install Mapsource, then you can handle waypoints, tracks and routes, as well as install maps.
Mapsource isnt' delivered together with Mapsource for the iQue, i.e. the program isn't bundled with the map data. But you can download an update of Mapsource from Garmin's web page. Normally, you can't install the update unless you already have an older version of Mapsource, but the iQue installation is sufficient for installing the Mapsource upgrade.
Once you've done that, you'll understand how it works.

Ok here goes.
I just installed the update for masource City Select and can now plot waypoints and tracks on the PC.
But here is the problem i can't transfer them to my iQue.
The only thing that it lets me transfer is the detailed maps.
Even though i can plot waypoint, It does not let me transfer them.
Can someone please help me with this.
Thanks

Go to Palmdesktop, tick Adress and the litle green banner opens, tick the banner and a window appears asking from where you want to import waypoints, which you have to had previously filed.
