Hi
I'm about to buy an Ipaq, either 3850 or 3870. Its main use will be to synchronise with Outlook 2000 at home and work. At home I will either use my laptop with Windows XP or my desktop with Windows 98. At work we have to use a Windows NT network with an Exchange server for emails etc - all only a year or so old.

I was hoping to keep the sync cradle at home and use a charging USB cable at work but Windows NT does not seem to support USB with Activesync. Will I have to do it the other way round and will it all work !?

Sorry for such a long question.

You can use the synch/charger cable at work as the one from Compaq has both the serial and USB connections. The only problem is that I don't think you can charge the unit via the serial cable while you at work, but will defer to others who have done this.
