synchronizing my 'outbox'

I am using windows '98. I can synchronize my emails to Outlook 2000 but my outbox fails to synchronize to the PC, so I cant send emails through my PC. Any Suggestions?

You don't "synchronize" your Outbox as such. You create a new PCmail rather than a normal message and this is subsequently transferred to Outlook to be sent. Is this what you have been doing?

I have been creating 'PC Mail' in my Revo Plus, but it does not move from the outbox in my Revo to the Outbox in my PC when I synchronize my mail... I therefore cannot send it.

Thanks, but I am following the instructions for synchronizing mail to the letter. When I synchronize my mail I select Outlook Exchange mail and all mail is copied from my PC to my Psion, but not the other way, so my Psion Outbox stays put.

A couple of things to check here, which you may have already done, so don't shoot me please!!!

1 - check the properties on the synchronisation General tab Advanced button to ensure it's set to Inbox, Outbox, Drafts & Sent, rather than Inbox only.

2 - When synchronising the Outbox it take 2 synchronisations before the messages disappear - the first puts them into the Outbox on Outlook, from where they are sent, and the second removes them from the Psion Outbox if they have gone from the Outbox on Outlook.

I have found one problem with synchronising from the outbox if the name you are sending to can't be resolved it just removes it and leaves the email in the outbox.

Thanks, I tried what you suggested and everything seemed to be ok. Now there is no movement at all between the Psion and Outlook emails. I get the message 'Synchronization complete but with errors'. Any more suggestions ...Please!!!!!!!

do you have both the 'sync update' and the 'email sync update 1.1' installed? Both are available from Psion's site.
