Hi,

My Palm is broken , and now I have to work with the Outlook and not with the Palm Desktop. I know about the Pocket Mirror which allows you to convert the data into Outlook, but you need the device to do so.

Is there any way to convert the Palm Desktop data into Outlook 2000 without the Palm device itself?

Thanks,

Hi. The only way that I know of doing it, is to export vCal and vCard files from Palm Desktop and import them into Outlook. The drawback is, as far as I know, you can only do one file at a time and it only works on Calendar and Address. No way to sync between Palm Desktop and Outlook that I know of.

If you’re interested in this method, let me know.

Tomer,
I thought I posted this a few days ago buy I must have blown a fuse and deleted.....who know!

You can also use AIMEX to convert your address.dat file to .csv form so you can open it in Excel and see whether your data is there. If it's okay, you can then import it into Outlook.
