A programme I can download to send apps and data to my nr70v from my pc or do I need the original Sony install disk?

You need the SONY install CD.

There are PC based programs such as SyncWizard that will allow you to move files on and off the SONY but SyncWizard uses the Conduits installed from the SONY CD.

I am not aware of any. Past postings on this board indicate that SONY does not post their install software. Put your search in GOOGLE and perhaps someone has posted it.
