I would like to know if the number of dial up characters can be changed from current 32 to a higher number when dialling for email.
I have a long number (42 characters) which uses users numbers and passwords and requires # in-between the user name and password can anyone help? Please.

My gut reaction is that no, this cannot be modified; the field sizes will have been set when the code was compiled :-(

I'm tending to think the same as Yan - I doubt it can be changed. I had a (sort of) similar problem trying to set up for GPRS on my S5 Classic - the init string field is simply not long enough to accommodate the necessary string. On the 5mx and MC218 there is no problem.

Goodness that's a long number, David! How frustrating.

i would try editing the .isp file on your revo's base directory.
you can open the yourispnamehere.isp with the built in text editor and it will come up as if you had opened it on notepad. on line 2 of the text you could try changing the number that is written there to the number to be dialed, then of course save it. please note that i have not tried this and do not know waht will happen, i have however looked at the .isp file on my US version Diamond Mako.
cheers, hope it works
