Hey guys,

I just downloaded the version for OS5 of Avantgo in hopes that it would correct the problem but it didn't. What am I talking about you you ask. When I use avantgo on my palm T|T3 when i scroll the virtual writing area (which won't go down when the full palm is opened) moves sketchily up and down with the scrolling. This is getting quite annoying and I'm almost about to turn in the towel and get rid of avantgo but I thought I'd try here first.

let me know what you guys think.

-CH:rolleyes: :( :confused:

I have noticed the same problem with my T3.

I find that if I close the slider on my T3 and then reopen it, it clears up this behavior.

I *thought* I saw something at Avantgo saying you need to download extra software (or a version) from them for it to work on the T3. Again, could be wrong but it's worth checking out.

Yes, closing the slider throws one out of Avantgo, a small irritant.

So remember to open Avantgo with the slider closed or re-open it after you close the slider.

I have both Code Diver and the T3_DIA_Compatibility_prcs which don't help. These may be the software that J Palm is referring to.

Yes, greghoro, the T3_DIA_Compatibility_prc was what I was referring to. Perhaps I confused it with Avantgo - I am getting much older now so memory isn't what it used to be! :)

CyclingHermes: sorry if I didn't help much. Like I said in my post, I *thought* there might be something special. Otherwise, I after logging into Avantgo and choosing my device (a TT & TC), I downloaded AGPalmClientConsumer.exe via https://my.avantgo.com/register/choose_device.html.

Sorry to waste your time, folks.

I can think of three alternatives;
- live with it; learn to open with the slider closed and deal with a 320 x 320 display limitation
- complain to Avantgo and ask them to correct the issue
- stop using Avantgo
