Loading in the City

hey everyone
recently i went into nyc with my iQue, and i had major loading problems. My maps are stored on my sd card, and when driving, it would try to load every poi on the streets. I ended up changing the detail slider, but i missed out on the streets. Is there a way to change it so that i would see pois, say under 800 ft, but above, not see them, but see the streets, and maybe not their names?

Sure there is, Nate. That is precisely how I use mine.

I have my settings under Prefernce to max details. Then I set the settings under Lines and Points to the levels that I want to see.

For instance, I don't see road names above .2 and the Points of Interest above 500 Ft.

Now, in New York City, you will probably want to drop those settings even lower.

Works exactly how i wanted it, thanks....i didnt realize the difference b/t text size and maximum zoom...thank you
