http://www.thesupplynet.com/searchResults.cfm (Check this out for trying to get a cell patch cable for my H1940.)

Data cables are not possible for this model iPAQ!
The Compaq iPAQ H1900 series does not support serial or USB connectivity. From the site link above.

So if the H1900 series does not support serial or USB connectivity then how does the ActiveSync work. It amazes me how some companies do not know what they are talking about.

If anyone has any info on a cable for the H1940 to an Audiovox 8300, please let me know.

The information above is correct, the 1900 series ipaq does not have serial "host" port support. Activesync uses serial port or usb port on the desktop not on the ipaq(ipaq is the client to the desktop). None of the ipaq has usb host port either. There is no cellphone cable to 1940 ipaq. You choice for 1940 is to find bluetooth cell phone and try connecting to it via builtin bluetooth on the 1940.

Thx Answerdude. That is some clarifaction I needed. Now I need to find a Bluetooth phone. That means I need to find out what phones Telus Mobility has that has Bluetooth. It must also have a patch cable for use with my laptop for accessing the web that way too.

You can just get a usb bluetooth adapter for the laptop and connect your laptop to the phone the same way as the ipaq.
