Connecting Revo to laptop

I have a Revo which I have managed to sync with my laptop via a usb to serial adaptor. I also sync a palm 515 to the same machine. My problem is that my laptop can no longer find my revo. I am using PsiWin 2.3.3 so I don't think that is the problem. I'm wondering if my docking station could be faulty. Does anyone know of a way to test this? Also every time I connect my docking station ( via the usb-serial adaptor) its asks for the driver to be installed. Can anyone shine any light on these problems?

I had this problem, intermittently. Simply, sometimes it worked and sometimes it didnt.

If you have XP, you shouldnt need drivers. You might just try using a different USB socket, that worked for me.

I got it to work!. Quite by accident. I have a usb mouse which I replaced with the docking station connection. and it worked. I don't know if it was down to swapping usb ports or disconnecting the mouse, but it worked. Thanks for the advice though.
