Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Audiovox Maestro ROM Update Gone BAD JMF0 10-14-2002, 05:08 PM I just tried to download the ROM update for my Audiovox Maestro and it got hosed up while updating the device. Needless to say my ActiveSynch application, my calendar, my contacts, etc. were all broken. So I tried to do a factory restore but since the ROM update had only partially completed the device now comes on with no screen and is clearly corrupted. You should go to Audiovox.com and retrieve their update. Follow the instructions. And print them out. But before anything do a hard reset. If you send it in they may not cover your warranty. And you may have to pay for it. And alo remove all folder,active sync and any other software,for a fresh start. Should work fine afterwards.
