I am looking for a pocket pc. Does anyone know if there is one out there that has a slot available for a card (similar to the Type II PC card from Sierra) through which I can purchase service from t-mobile, sprint, etc.? I want to be able to access the internet without using wi-fi or bluetooth.
Thanks

iPAQ 3600, 3700, 3800, 3900, 5400 and 5500 series all accept expansion sleeve that will let it use pcmcia card.
I am new to pocket pc's so I want to be sure that I understand your answer. Do the pda's that accept an expansion sleeve allowing it to use the pcmcia card come with this sleeve or is it something additional that I need to purchase? Also, will it cause the pda to be bulky when carrying it?
Someone else recc that I get a bluetooth phone and pda instead. Which would you recc? Thanks for your help with this.

With those models mentioned above, you do need to purchase additional sleeve and it slides into the main unit. It does add some bulk but it also comes with its own battery which will increase usage times.

Bluetooth cell phone with bluetooth capable pocketpc is also a possible solution, you need to check with your cellular service provider for availability and cost.
