Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : question about calendar and today screen
If I set appointments up in my Ipaq, do they only show up on the today screen when it is the day in which they are actually ocurring. I ask because it seems like on my 1945 (when I had it) the items would show up on the today screen several days in advance(kind of like a reminder) I have tried foinf it as an all day event, or as a timesd (11-12pm etc) and I cannot get them to show up on my today screen unless it is the day the appointmemtn is scheduled for. Am I doing something wrong, or do you have to actually look at the calendar to see that you have something scehduled that week? Thanks in advance.
okay let me rephrase this, what does your second line with the upcoming appointments say? mine says no upcoming appointments, today is the 8th, I have an allday event set for the 13th with a reminder set for 1 week in advance, and also, just for the sake of doing it, I set an event for tomorrow (allday event) and it still on the line says no upcoming appointments, and I have yet to see a reminder for it, even though I set the reminder for one day in advance, is my IPAQ faulty or is this the way everyone's works?
could someone help me out, this has been bugging the heck out of me all day.

I used to own a Toshiba e330 with PPC 2002, and this device only listed appointments on the day they were due. Now I have an iPAQ h4150 with WM2003, and it does list appointments up to 6 days in advance (I think), e.g. say it is Sunday and I have an appointment on Tuesday it says Tues: "appointment name".
So, this is either a new feature of WM2003, or a feature of iPAQ's (as opposed to Toshiba's).
So, my question is, what device do you own and what OS does it run?
an IPAQ but it does have 2002 :-( I could have sworn when I had my 1945 it showed it a few days in advance, well now I know the difference between 2002 and 2003. It only shows them on the date they actually occur. Unless someone knows a trick I don't?
I currently own a 1915

You need a little freebie application for your today screen called Calender+
calander + (http://mohairsofa.com/Default.aspx/document/10)
You can set up to 7 days in advance to show on your today screen.

Have you tried checking your "Today" settings?
Tap Start > Settings, then on the Personal tab, tap Today.
Tap the Items tab at the bottom, then highlight Calendar and select Options on the right.
You should then see the option of displaying just the next appointment or upcoming appointments and also the option of displaying all day events.
I am running WM 2003, but I used to have PPC 2002 and I'm pretty sure it worked the same way.
Hope this helps.
