How long does the battery last on a Tungsten T2? I am thinking of buying one. I am okay with dimming the brightness if it save significant battery life. Also, are there good program like Backup Buddie that work on it? I currently own a Sony Clie T665 and want to make the switch, but am worried that I will not be able to back up all of my info should I ever loose power, have hard reset, install some some software that I want to roll back my PDA from, etc. Any help would be appreciated. By the way, is the best Palm bulletin board or should I go somewhere else? I don't see a lot of dialogue here.

I swear by BackupMan from www.bitsnbolts.com/ - I have mine set to backup everything in the middle of the night. It has saved me a few times where I deleted a file I later needed- and it is not expensive. Has been very reliable and worthwhile for me.

Thank you for your good info, but I will be buying the TH55 now that Sony has finally announced a T665 replacement with a full 320X480 screen resolution. I enjoy my Sony, too much and have too many accessories to give them all up. Thank you, though, becuase I will weigh the TH55 against the T/E2 and TT4 when then come out.

The only bad thing is stylus. Admittedly this could really be improved, but the jog dial looks cool. I guess I will have to wait and see how it stacks up against the T/E2.
