E 100 Power On/No Screen

Am interested to see if anyone can enlighten me how to try to fix a problem with my Cassiopeia E100 which will power up but the screen will not light up. When I put it in its cradle or charge it with a direct connection to the unit, the screen will light up but shows nothing. It remains blank and ultimately goes blank. I know there is power going into the unit, even when off the cradle and charger, as tapping the screen with a finger or stylus, gets a response.

Have tried resetting, hard reset, to no avail. Would appreciate any wisdom you can share with me on this.

Most of the time taking a unit apart and resitting connectors helps. It's not that difficult. You can even overclock it on the way :) [Check other posts for overclocking links]
If nothing works - I will buy it from you :)

Thanks for your response. I'll look into what you suggested and if I don't succeed, will keep you in mind for selling it. Did you have a price in mind?
