Emails with attachments

Hi all

When I sync email messages that have attachments with them, and later view them on my PDA, I can't open the attachments that go with them. Any ideas?

...so I tried sending an email with an attachment to myself. I sent the file on my home pc, hung up, and relogged back onto my isp using my 780 and read my mail. The attachment was there and it saved properly.

So my question is then: do you see the separate attachment, that is are you trying to open it or save it. And, do you have a program that will properly open the attachment after it is saved?

Try sending one to yourself and see what happens.

Sounds to me like you don't have active sync configured to allow attachments.

Start up ActiveSync on your desktop computer (you don't have to connect the MobilePro to change these settings), click on Tools, Options, under the Sync Options tab highlight "Inbox" and then click the Settings button. Make sure the checkbox "Include file attachments" is checked, and if checked make sure that you do NOT check the the checkbox "Limit attachment size to:" if you want to make sure you receive all your attachments.
