I am sure that the forum can help you with some suggestions if you can explain what kind of tasks you wish to handle on the Palm. Just like the countless specialized businesses out there, there may not be software listed specifically for most of them, but there are applications that can be utilized perfectly with some knowledge and creativity.

I would like to put on things like: Most of are forms are on jet forms/pdf filler type files. What would be a good app to use on my palm to be able to use jet forms/ filler type stuff? We have alot of books/manuals that are in pdf form. I have acrobat reader already on my TT3. My thing is most of are books/manuals are huge files(150 to 1000 pages). Is there some way I can shrink down the files so there don't take so much room or have a whole pocket full of memory cards? The big thing is the manuals. As most people know we have to go by the reg(regulation) in everythning we do. So it would be great to be able to have all the books/manuals that we use all in one hand instead of 20 boxes!! Everybody help with this would be great! Thanks for all your help!!

Let me see....tough decision here.
Little bunch of tiny SD cards for tons of big files OR 20 boxes.
Hmmmm......

( Just kidding!! :D )

I remember reading about some Colonel about a year or two ago that had dozen's (if not hundred's) of TM's and AR's for the Palm platform - now it's bugging me.

I'll see if I still have any old internet book marks when I get home.

Brighthand.com has a forum dedicated to Military uses of PDA's. You might check there.

As far as the manuals, Adobe, DTG and Repligo are probably your best bets. Unfortunately, I don't know of any app that would let you enter info into a PDA based pdf form and then print/send the resulting form.

BTW, thanks for being out there on the "pointy end".
