You won't be disappointed with Datebook5 from Pimlico Software. Just make sure you take the time to look through the 100-page manual that comes as part of the download- very robust. Best features for me are: True floating appointments (with or without time) so that if they are not done, they roll over at midnight to the next day; and use of iconsets to give some visual clues as to items (e.g., birthday cake for birthdays, UPS symbol for incoming stuff I am waiting for, etc.). To me, this is the Cadillac of these programs. Good luck.

well, something I really did not like with Datebook5 is that it adds Strings like "@@@@@@XXX@@@@" to the Notes of both Calendar items and Tasks for its additional features - this was annoying for me because these changes got sync'ed to our exchange server ...
Besides that, I really liked it

I've moved to Key Suite from Datebook 5. It offers much more sophisticated synchronisation with Outlook, including custom folders & colours (which I rely on to see at a glance what I'm doing in a day)

ON my old 505, I used the smalles OS5 AGendus app (Version 5.35) that I could that WAS ALSO OS5 compatible, in anticipation of switching over to OS5, which I've now done with the T3.

After 5.35, Versions got really bloated and silly - Ver4 was 200k, Ver 5.35 400k, Ver 6.12 540k, and then Version 7 (now 7.03) a whopping 640k. This was too big for a 505 - but NOT TOO BIG for a Tungsten.

Customizable icons, 1/7/30/Quarter customizable views, ability to hilite a particular ToDo with color, customizable icons WITH HIGH definition, and another menu which allows "Next 5/14/30 day" listings is really excellent.

You can even load a GIF for any view you want as a background, if you like that sort of thing. If you use another Iambic app like TinySheet or IambicMail, you can jump to that app from a bottom icon.

THE ADDRESS LOOKUP is fantastic and allows more customizing ability that TealPhone.

It is worth the size, and for another $10-20 you can get the PC Sync version, which gives you all the icons on the desktop, too. I didn't bother with this "Pro" Version, but even in Tiny Font, the hilited colors plus icons are a breeze to read and the program is very suited to completely personalizing it as to what's best for you. I recommend it highly, especially now that PDAs are equipped with more memory. If you see and like icon sets on the web and don't make your own like me, you can actually organize them in banks and alternate between banks, if you're that in to it.

The only thing I miss about 5.35 is the "Solid Blue" Day Headers which were easier to read and distinguish dates; the latter two versions say "Today, Tomorrow, This Thursday, Next Monday,' with the dates over on the right in BLUE, not Black. This cannot be changed even with Colorize or Khroma - little irritating. The program is fantastic though - live by it daily.
