Hi there,

I take a lot of notes in lectures and meetings and in my notes, I tend to have small diagrams (or arrows pointing to things etc). Is there any word processing software for the palm (i've searched everywhere) that enables you to type notes, and then add a diagram with the stylus? Ideally I would need to be able to write pages and pages for one section of notes, and maybe have a few diagrams within each. Sometimes none at all.

Please email me at is01davidt@hotmail.com if you know!

Thanks so much!

Hi my friend i had nearly the same prob as u do, and i found in a strore a solution which i am using actually :

SMART PAD

it's a kind of a folder in wich you stick your pda, and you have a real paper notepad with a special pen (with bateries) that u use and what you write down on your sheet is transfered to ur pda via infrared link...

Due to the 4k size limitations this is very unlikely (even the simpplest drawing is bigger). What you are searching for is the option to embed objects in text, the way you could on the Psion 5. If they could do it, with only 8 MB, anyone can. Perhaps OS 5 (or 6) will make this possible.

Meanwhile, what I do is make sketches and drawings in Notepad (automatically date-stamped; very handy), then later give them a title and a reference in the apropriate memo or datebook-entry. A bit crude but I see no "paperless" alternative right now.
