ACtiveSync 3.5 problem with Outlook 2000

Hello,
I have a Desktop at home with XP OS. I installed Outlook 2002 CD that came with it and synchronized my iPaQ 3955 with it. Everything works fine.

Then I wanted to Sync my iPaQ with my office Laptop also to keep contacts-calender synced everywhere. My Office Dell Laptop has Windows2000 Pro and Outlook 2000. If I try to install ACtive Sync, it does not recognize my iPaQ on either COM1 or USB port.
I don't want to upgrade my office licenced outlook 2000 with the outlook 2002.

Any solution?

So is ActiveSync recognizing the iPAQ at all or is it just not syncing with outlook?

Try deleting both host partherships and change the name of the device. When you create your first partnership, make sure you chose to sync with more than one PC.
