NJBlackBerry 10-16-2002, 10:13 AM At the present time, BlackBerrys (85x/95x) work in North America only. RIM has stated their intent to make a "world phone" BlackBerry (the model 6710) but that is not out yet. There is a model 5820 GSM/GPRS unit that works on some European/Asian GPRS networks (and is also a phone), but I am not sure it works in Russia. They work great in the UK, but don't work in the US. technicaldiva 10-16-2002, 11:19 AM Actually, there is one other country you can use the Blackberry if Goamerica is your service provider and it's in Canada.... call 800-444-8646 for more info NJBlackBerry 10-17-2002, 12:30 PM RIM has formally announced their new model 6710, which has a dual-band GSM/GPRS radio.
