Ipaq and PC Cards / Smart Media Memory

Just after a little help.

I have a 3850 and am trying to use a PC Card Smartmedia Converter to access my camera files on my iPaq.

the iPaq cannot see the card and doesn't even acknowledge (I didn't expect it to), however I cannot find a driver anywhere at all.

Please help if you can.

Do I have to buy a new PC Card which converts PC Card to Flash Memory to Smartmedia?????????

I don't know if this is the correct answer. I have an IPAQ 3765 and two days ago, I got a sleave (a single Plus). first when I inserted the CF64Mb in the adaptor and placed it in the sleave, it did not recognize the compact flash., so after a bit, in frustration, I removed the sleave, and reinserted it, did a quick re-set, and then inserted the flash memory card back in. This time, the CF card started working properly..

To check, Go to start > settings >system > about and see whether the expansion slot is in use.

then you should be able to use the file explorer and view the compact flashcard contents.. (so my case, I think the sleave had not registered properly, for the expansion slot to work.. Mine is a single slot, so for some reason or the other, my Click drive does not work in it.. My Wireless network card also works fine in it..)
