I have a Clie T615 and thinking about getting a mp3 player adapter and 128 mb mem stick to go with it, but before I do that, I would like to know this: From full charge, if I play MP3 non-stop, how long the battery will last?
Anyone know/tried?

If I remember correctly from my research, it's max 11 hours with the screen turned of, 3-4 hours with it on. (That's for the clie models that have built in mp3 player)
Probably the same for adapter too, but not sure.
Hope that helps!!!

But that's for model T665(with built-in mp3), mine is T615.
Can T615's screen be turn off while playing mp3? like T665? Are they using the same battery?

I have a T615, (No MP3 adapter though) and with the display on and illuminated (at or near max brightness) I drain a full charge in about 40 minutes. At lowest brightness I can go almost twice as long, while with illumination off I can run hours and hours. (not timed) I don't know how much power the MP3 add-on consumes, but I'd strongly suspect that the biggest factor by far would still be the backlight. (anyone have numbers on how much a memory stick shortens the battery cycle?)
Oh, and alarms with the built-in speaker are a huge drain too, but I am assuming that the tiny preamp for headphones would require much less power.
