Here (http://www.chapura.com/news.php?a=fs&current_key=32) is the press release for the Pocket Mirror to be bundled with the Que.

Eureka - they have seen the light.

Sounds like great news, thanks Moose Man.

I wonder how we will be able to get a copy of the software?

I'm sure you can do just like the press release says and pay your $39.99 and they'll be happy to send you a copy.

Maybe Garmin will step up and start including it with units back from RMA....or maybe as a software update from their website? Doubtful, but it could happen.

Big advantage of Pocket Mirror is that you can map Outlook folders to Palm Categories.

However, to link to Public Folders on Exchange Server, you
need Pocket Mirror Pro, not Standard.

I bought it to replace not-so-Intellisynch Pro which still does not understand folders <==> categories.

Pocket Mirror works well with IQue.

Okay, I'll bite. What is Pocket Mirror and what does it do?

Pocket Mirror lets you sync the PIM applications on the iQue with Microsoft Outlook on your desktop, rather than the Palm Desktop.

Personally, while I agree that Pocket Mirror should have been included with the iQue in the first place, I still prefer to use KeySuite, which also includes a conduit to Microsoft Outlook, but also gives you a replacement application for deatebook on the iQue.
Certainly not as flashy and graphically appealing as agendus or datebk5, but it lets you carry virtually ALL outlook fields along on your iQue. I hate the restriction on the built in datebook database that only lets you carry ONE address for a person, no birthdays or anniversary dates, one e-mail address ...

I sent an email to Garmin Support the other day to ask if they intended to offer Pocket Mirror to existing customers. The reply I received today was less than definitive. The Product Support Specialist who replied indicated that he had not heard about Garmin's intention to bundle PM, but "if" they did so, he would "assume" that it would be offered to current users.

Has anyone else inquired with Garmin about this?

So, with support for more systems, that means we'll have a native Mac desktop for the iQue Real Soon(tm), right?

Or is this just a move to further embrace the 95%'ers?

What is the word on Map Install for this system? Must you keep around a Palm Desktop as well?
