Problem with Mobile-field when synching with EasySync Pro

Hi,

I have a problem with EasySync Pro 4.x together with Lotus Notes (R5). Upon synchronization, the "cell phone" field in
Lotus is (incorrect) mapped to the "Other"-field in the Palm (version 3.5.3 on both Palm V, Vx and m105). Further more
the synchronization process adds a "Mobile: "-text before
the actual number as well.

It turns out to look like this on the Palm:

Smith Tom
Work: 1234567
Home: 1234567
Other: Mobile:
4567890


I have checked the mapping configuration in EasySync Pro
and it is ok.

Do anyone have any suggestion?

Hi there,

I tried the following: map the "Other Phone" also to the "Cell Phone" entry. Look at the result, EasySync does put it in right field, only the description of the fields in the EasySync Mapping aren't quite the same. When you select "Mobile" from the "Other" field in your Palm it displays the right data. So try changing the mappings of the "Cell Phone"and the "Other Phone" in your EasySync and make some combinations...

We're using EasySync Pro 4.1 with a Palm Zire, an V and two Toshiba's e335.

Does not seem to work for me.

I have tried to map the Lotus Notes "Cell phone" to both "Mobile" and "Other" in the Palm. I have also tried to only map "Cell phone" to "Other" in the Palm, resulting in getting the "Other" field with yet another "Other: " string before the actual phone number, like the example below:
Smith Tom
Work: 1234567
Home: 1234567
Other: Other: 4567890

It seems like Easysync Pro refuses to put anything into the "Mobile" field in the Palm?
