I am looking for a way to search other fields in the address book besides First Name, Last Name and Company. Sometimes I want to look up a name from a phone number, or part of a name. Please help!!!

Maybe I don't understand you right but with the "FIND" button you can search for any string of letters/digits/etc in any field or note, as long as there is a space before it (or is the first word in that field). For speed first switch to the Adress-book.

Thanks ... it works great!!! (I wasn't in the address book when I hit the find button, so it was taking AGES to search everyting else before it started looking in the address book...)

BTW, does anyone know how the find button works out what order to search the applications (ie. address book, memo pad, documents to go, calendar, etc etc...)?

It gives first priority to the active app, then goes through RAM - in a consistent but non-alphabetical manner.

one thing I've found helps with the find feature is find hack. it lets you search for something with a keyword that is NOT the beginning of the word. eg, search for McKinsey by putting in kinsey... etc. other features too. great hack,
