Truncated spoken directions??

My 2nd IQue just started providing abbreviated spoken directions. She cuts off either the distance or direction and leaves out the "drive", "and", etc.

so far I've:
Reinstalled the maps via Palm desktop
Hard reset and reinstalled via Backupbuddy
soft resets
changed prefs and changed back

No luck!

My SD card showed up as "write protected" when I intiially re-installed the maps - removing and replacing the card cleared that message.

Sound familiar?? Help!

Have you tried just using the install CD and choose install then CHANGE VOICE? This should reinstall the voice files. I suspect one is just corrupted.
