IQue connector compatability list

I posted a thread asking about keyboard connectors and got some good info about universal connector compatability among Palm units. Thanks to nparker13 and jonasolof for the information below. Anyone who can add to this,.. please do. Maybe the moderators can make this a "Sticky" post for reference?

A lot of cheap people like me find bargains on chargers, cradles, keyboards etc for other models that may fit the Ique? Help update this list.

The HandEra 330 is the same as the Palm III so it does not have the Palm universal connector. I know this because I went from a Palm IIIe to the HandEra and one of the reasons was because I had a GoType keyboard and wanted to use it with my new PDA...that and the fact that, except for color, the HandEra 330 was way ahead of everything else on the market at that time (and is still in some ways...e.g. TWO card slots...CF AND SD!)

I tend to agree with Ann. Having the FAQ up front would be nice for new users (as well as veterans) to have quick access.

It would be a nice repository for links to useful apps (like Walts backlight dimming program) as well as answer most of the questions discussed here.

It's great that some folks are putting the link to the FAQs with their postings, but we still have to search for these users to find it.

Add:

Plug for iQue power jack: Standard 2.35 mm outer diam., 0.7 mm inner diameter plug. Could also be marked 2.40 - 0.75

Tolerances are small. Open up with a needle first before using on iQue so that the pin in the jack barrell is not broken or pulled away.
