I just deleted everything on my card and formatted (in an attempt to get Backupman working properly). I then set up map install to reinstall all my maps to my card, and sync-ed it. Now, it appears that the maps are all on my card, since most of the memory is filled, but I'm not getting any maps or other mapsource features - as though there's nothing loaded. Any ideas? Thanks

Go to GPS, Preferences, Maps, and on the right side choose Detailed Maps. Make sure your maps are selected.
I also seem to remember that I had to do a reset once when a similar thing happened.

Using a SanDisk card, maybe?

C'mon, quit picking on my Sandisc - It's an Ultra! And it hasn't caused any problems until I formatted it and tried to restore everything.

Well, as I posted in another thread, there seems to be some issue with SanDisk cards in the iQue.
The card I have has caused a lot of trouble in my first iQue. Now, when I have a replacement (defective antenna), the card works in the new unit.

I have also re-formatted and downloaded map files to a 256 mb sandisk card. The card shows an appropriate amount of memory used, but the maps do not show up on my list.
Is this a defective card?

The question is quite appropriate. I have a 512MB Sandisk card that quit working a while back.
I can see the maps on the card but the iQue does not see them.
I have loaded to a card reader as well as the normal hot synch, nothing works.
