I have a question related to the web page display: If I have an applet which runs perfectly on desktop and I want it to run on my IPAQ, how can the GUI will display correctly since the screen is only 320*240 for the IPAQ. Do I need another version of the html file? If so, how can the server know that it is a PDA accessing right now?
Thanks!

I do not know of any application that will display a normal desktop web page on the iPAQ. You can go with a virtual terminal such as NYDITOT, but you will still have to choose between a smaller screen (if you fit the width on the iPAQ in landscape mode, you will see only 1/3 of the screen) or a screen that is virtually unreadable (if you chose to compress a 640X480 or 800X600 to the iPAQ screen.

Better to let the website you visit most often know that in order to continue enjoying their content, they will have to take into consideration people who are accessing the site using PDA's. That number of people is growing daily.

Also check if the site supports WAP -- pages designed for wireless access via cell phone should work well on the iPAQ.
