Obviously you hit delete and it's deleted! I'm not that dumb! (Well, jury's out . . . . .)
Anyway, what I HATED about the TinySheet SyncManager was that if you delete the spreadsheet on the desktop, it deletes from the handheld.
Same was true for Documents to Go/Spreadsheet To go . . . I thought. If you set the item to "Don't synchronize," move the item on the handheld to the Card, HotSync again, then delete the item from the Desktop, it goes away on the "PC Manager," but DOES NOT get deleted on the handheld. I hotsynced 4 more times to check -- still on there. This is great to keep the desktop manager from getting cluttered and keep prying eyes away from the stuff you've got on your handheld. Furthermore, you can then go into the Default Docs2Go Folder, wherever that is on your computer, and ENCRYPT those sheets with a program of your choice. It won't matter that Docs2Go can't recognize them, because it's not trying to sync them anyway.
DOES ANYONE else have a better idea -- is this too much trouble? I read the ENTIRE Docs2Go manual/Index/Help Guide, and nothing was mentioned except "it won't delete the original file on the desktop."
I'm interested in syncing once, getting it on the handheld, then deleting the "Desktop Manager" Version without harming the handheld copy. PLEASE . . . any thoughts, anyone? I'm just waiting for my "Columbo" like strategy to bite me and suddently on a hotsync the spreadsheets are missing on the T3.
Thanks in advance for any help!
