Hi there...

My NHS site has recently got a batch of new 3850's, which
means we have had to upgrade to Outlook 98 for those lucky
(?)users who got them. However, we've seen some problems,
the key one of which is this:

On the Ipaq, when you forward an email in your inbox, with
the Ipaq disconnected from its PC, and send it, it pops up
a message:

'No matching entry was found for 'bloggs, joe'
Would you like to continue (y/n).

If you say yes, it exits sensibly, and you appear to have
an email which will be forwarded the next time you sync to
your PC.

However, upon syncing, Outlook on the PC returns a system
administrator message from Exchange saying the recipient
does not exist - and the name seems to have been separated
into two emails, one to 'bloggs@xxx.yyy.zzz and the other
to joe@xxx.yyy.zzz.

If you do exactly the same with an older Ipaq 3630, to a
PC using Outlook 97, when the Ipaq is synced, the mail is
sent off sucessfully, to one email recipient,
joe.bloggs@xxx.yyy.zzz

No changes have been made to users profiles, default
settings were accepted when upgrading the workstation from
Office 97 to Office98, and I'm really peeved with this,
anyone who can help me will receive an 'unsung hero'
certificate and my thanks. :)

Regards...

I seem to remember there is a setting somewhere in Outlook that allows you to choose the address seperator. If this is set to a comma it will make it 2 addresses. Just set it to semi colon (that is if you can fin his setting ;-) I'll have a look around on my pC
