error message Psion revo Plus

I have an error message box appear when i go to eSetup.It says.
program Closed.

Program eSetup
Reason Code KERN-EXEC
reason Number 3

Does anyone know what the above error message means and even more important how to fix it.I have a psion revo +.
I would appreciate any help please:)

I suggest backing up your Revo and trying a soft reset.

or you can create a new ISP settings by opening internet connections in control panal and press new.

I had this appear too.The only way I could clear the error code and then use esetup as normal was after an unfortunate hard reset.A soft reset didnt do the job.As mentioned in other postings,it is still possible to set up email and internet settings.

As I try to stay away from resetting (both soft and hard) at any cost, you might try the following:

1. Delete the .ini file of the program (in the eSetup folder in Apps in System)
2. Be sure that no other programs are open while trying to use it
3. Open the program and if not working the way you want it to, "kill" it by going to the open programs dialog and pressing SH+CTRL+FN+K

Always use resets for the last resort.

As for what a kernel error is, it is an error in the lower level of the machines brains. It basically means that something is clashing. Explaining them can be found in the Symbian Programming book. If you want a better explanation, let me know and I will look it up.
