Any old ROM cards going spare

As I confirmed on another thread for you, I don't mind selling my 7 series rom (756) to you after my warranty expires in November. Alternatively you could always join the new 7book church !!!

I will let you PM you here when I am ready to get rid of it. If you have already sourced one before then, not to worry.

Does anyone think, given my problems, the netbook rom will work in my machine - will Expansis take it back?

If the motherboard in your 7 is the same as the motherboard in the 751 machine then the netbook personality module should work ok.

We need some input from a Psion person to be 100% that the boards are the same. I would have thought so as the only major motherboard change that I am aware of is when the 7 & netbook boards were rationalised to reduce production costs. This was done around the 754/756 build. On that basis you should be ok.

Re your Expansys question, the best thing is to contact them and get a name from any person who says you can return the card if it does not work.
