how do I get the TE to work under linux? It wont recognise the USB cable.Unregistered

This device will sync in linux but you have to be a little more specific about your distro, version etc.

You problem is probably that the USB device is not being created. Generally, linux only 'sees' the device during a hotsync.

Do a Google on;
"tunsten e" linux

You will find quite of bit of help.
