Does anyone know how to synch an Ipaq 3970 with a T68i mobile? when I connect via bluetooth at the phone asks the Ipaq if it can access the PIM but when I press 'accept' nothing happens.
Thanks all

Thanks all bomber 10-21-2002, 01:42 PM Sounds like you haven't paired up the 2 devices I think. I had this for a while. In order for them to be paired, you have to give them the same number (only needed once, once paired - set and forget) How far do you get? I have iPAQ 3970 & T68i so it is possible, let me know if you need any further info? Bomber raouf 10-22-2002, 09:09 AM Thanks for the message. I had actually paired so I'm not sure what was wrong. Anyway I've solved it by downloading the mphone software which not only synchronises also allows me to use the 3970 as a dialler when linked to the T68i chardros 11-03-2002, 08:45 PM I'd be interested on more information on this. I own an iPaq 3970 and a t68i; I believe I have paired the two correclty but have never been able to sync them - it seems to work, but nothing happens. I have been uing the mPhone oftware as an interim solution, but I'd much rather do it natively so that I don't need to go through the hassle of mapping the bluetooth connection to a serial port for mPhone, etc. I have no need of using it as a dialer, so mPhone is just a kludge for me. Any further advice on this? I have this problem in other areas too. If I try to send something from the T68i to the ipaq, the phone reports that it sent it, but nothing ever happens on the iPaq end - this could be a calande item or a contact. More recently, I have gotten the communicam attachment - and if I try to send an image from the phone to the iPaq via bluetooth, the T68i again reports that it was sent, but it never shows up on the iPaq end. Any help would b VERY appreciated. hotraven 12-04-2002, 07:41 PM I've been able to pair my iPaq 3970 to my t68i phone and to use it as a bluetooth modem to connect to the Internet. However, when I attempt to synch nothing happens: From the t68i: Connect Synchronization Local Sync Bluetooth or Infrared My preference is to use Bluetooth, but the result is the same: nothing. The phone goes back to the Synchronization screen. I'm assuming I should be able to sync my calendar and contacts between my iPaq and the T68i phone via the Bluetooth connection. Am I assuming this incrorrectly? Other note: 1. I'm able to send a PIM contact and Calendar entry from the iPaq to the phone via Bluetooth. internacio 12-13-2002, 01:01 PM YouŽll find much more usefull information at: http://www.compaq.co.uk/products/ipaq/pocketpc/docs/t68i.pdf:rolleyes: hotraven 12-15-2002, 08:47 PM Unfortunately the Compaq PDF file on the T68i explains how to set up the bluetooth connection but doesn't explain how to synchronize contacts/calendar between the two devices. matthewcashmore 01-10-2003, 12:37 PM Come on it can't be that difficult - I've paired the devices and still can't get the things to talk to each other... does anyone have the diffinitive guide? It would be great to get this working as I'd love to sync my calender but no fun with mPhone :-( Please can someone help me - Bomber I'd love to speak to you... M PDA Street
