Hello:
I have a 1945 Ipaq with 64meg of memory,Well my question is when I download like mp-3s do I need to compress them anymore and if I dont about how many sons can I put on with 64meg -thanks for your input.

You can put about 10 songs, conisdering one song is about 4-5 minutes.

The only way to compress MP3 is to decrease the bitrate, which means lower quality.

That is why it is a good idea to purchase a card and a card reader.

I personally am half def, and completely tone def. lol. I use a really low quality and use about 1 mb per 3 min of music. It is so great. A few songs that sound bad unless they are high quality I have a little bigger. If you too are not that big into quality (still better than the radio in sound) then just decrease the bitrate in WMP under options and a devivce tab. There is this thing that says copy to device at xxxx quality and a little slider. Just slide this all the way down.
